Halloween Witches

A witch is a woman thought to have evil magic powers. Witches are popularly depicted as wearing a black cloak and pointed hat, and flying on a broomstick. Witches are believed to use magic for various reasons destruction, medicine, death, and evil. Witches are believed to of taken place back in the day where wicth trials were held for those accused of witchcraft. Drownings, hangings, and burning at the stakes were held to test if the person was actually a witch. Witches are still believed to be around today who come around at midnight to cause terror over the innocent and leaving evil spirits. Witches have especially took a major role after the establishment of Jamestown which is the earliest settlement of America.
