Thanksgiving is on November 27th and is always on a Thursday. My family celebrates thanksgiving by by hosting a dinner at my house where my aunt and my cousin comes over to feast with us, also close family friends come to celebrate too. On thanksgiving day we like to play football in our closest park which is M street Park. There is no football field so we play where the two softball fields meet. after that we go home to enjoy watching a real football game which this year our favorite game was Lions vs Bears because of my Aunt likes the blue lion on the helmet. As we watch we also sip on hot cider and continue to wait for the Thanksgiving dinner. At the feast we host my mom made a 23 lb butterball turkey, mashed potatoes, string beans, cabbage balls, baby carrots, peas, stuffing, gravy, squash, and to top it all off wheat buns.
